Life is so much Lighter
When someone with us will share
Our burdens and the toils of life
And will ease our load to bear.
Life tastes so much Sweeter
When honey-coated words
Are stirred into life's bitter brew
As gentle hand engirds.
Life is so much Brighter
When someone will hold the light
To illumine our dark pathway
Enshrouded by the night.
I'm glad that you have been there
Through bitter and the sweet;
My life is so much Richer
And so much more complete.
