Making Blueberry Peach Crisp (Bowl is the old crockery spongeware, made in Rosewood, Ohio, and the baking dish is newer spongeware made in Italy - both bought at a consignment shop). The tea towel was a large blue and white plaid cotton tablecloth bought for 50 cents at a yard sale, and cut and sewn into about six large tea towels.

Cloth Quiet Book

Below are a few pictures of pages from a Quiet Book I made. This is a gift given to each of our children's first babies for their first birthday - a book of thirty pages to share with siblings when they arrive.

QB - Gas Tank

I used parts from broken electronics for the gas tank. A picture of my grandson's head is in pocket for him to place himself in driver's seat.

Wag the dog's tail! You have to stick your left pinky where the arrow tell you to.

Quiet Book Page - Take person out of pocket and put on boat.

Only the cone is sewn onto page. Scoops of IC and toppings are in green pocket, so the child can build the cone and measure it.

The whole earth is full of God's glory! Most of these photos show the glory of His creation - the flowers, birds, butterflies and other insects, ocean, sunrises, sunsets, and clouds. Other photos display the creativity the Lord has freely given to His creatures. I hope you enjoy viewing these randomly posted photos at least half as much as I did photographing them all.

I Timothy 6:7 says that we should not be highminded, not trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy, and you will surely see many of God's gifts of enjoyment shown here!

I still love dolls and dressed the one as a boy, as we awaitied the birth of our last grandson. Goodwill was the source of these baby clothes at a dollar each (shoes, hat and cap for 50 cents each).

I've been having fun making lots of candles lately, using my candle warmers. The candle holders are made up of two glass votives glued to candle holders - all found at yard sales.
